Dr. Lindsay Rosenwald is a highly reputed name in the biotechnology circle. The company was hugely successful and has funded many a company that later went on to contribute very valuable drugs. The company has raised almost a billion dollars since its inception and continues to raise funds successfully.

Paramount BioSciences is another company which was established by Dr. Lindsay Rosenwald with the purpose of identifying potential companies that was into drug research and needed financial and technical backing to fulfill its research purposes. The companies identified by Paramount BioSciences were henceforth supported by Paramount BioCapital financially and technically by Paramount BioSciences.

Paramount BioSciences has an excellent executive team which thereon helped the company manage the entire drug development cycle. The team assists the company right from the formulation of the drug to its marketing stages. Thus many a pharmaceutical company has been able to make a mark through various drug contributions.

A billion dollars was what Johnson & Johnson paid to procure the company Cougar Biotechnology seeing the potential of the drug that was under phase II clinical trial at Cougar. The drug had a potential in the treatment of prostrate cancer. Thus Paramount BioSciences helped companies harness their true worth.

Dr. Lindsay Rosenwald’s farsightedness thus brought to light many a potential drug used in the treatment of many a cancer, and so on. Likewise, Trisenox is a drug that was developed by the company Polarx, which too was under the backing of Paramount BioSciences. Trisenox has a record for receiving approval from the FDA only after 30 months of clinical trials. The drug was aimed at treating an acute and rare form of leukemia. The company Polarx was eventually procured by the company Cell Therapeutics. Such were the success of companies that had the backing of Dr. Lindsay Rosenwald’s companies, Paramount BioSciences and Paramount BioCapital.
